  • Wow, so many wonderful curries made from some very strange but very tasty vegetables; all set in a beautiful environment with warm friendly staff. I highly recommend eating here, and also trying a little bit of everything! even the very spicy Sri Lankan curries are incredible!

  • Alll you can eat type of restaurant. The price is of 2750R per person, and the beverages are extra. The food is freshly cooked and the hosts are presenting every dish, so you know what you eat. Mostly vegetables, rice, some fish and a bit of chicken. Everything that we tried was delicious. The setting is also nice, on a covered terrace in the middle of the nature.

  • Food heaven!! In the beginning we were hesitant to go, since it’s a buffet and we had quite a big breakfast, but our driver recommended it as authentic cuisine so we went anyways, and oh were we lucky! Especially for vegetarians, like us, this place is incredible, in the beginning they showed and explained all the pots with different stews/vegetables to us and we were amazed, but the food not only looked delicious, it tasted even better! Our tastebuds are very pleased after this experience and we ate a lot more than we thought we could, but we simply had to try every single dish. Thank you!

  • Had a wonderful lunch at Jaga Food, Polonnaruwa. From the moment you arrive, the owner Jaga himself welcomes you with a big smile at the entrance, which makes the experience feel very personal and special. There is a wide variety of authentic Sri Lankan dishes, all bursting with real local flavors. You truly get to experience the genuine taste of Sri Lanka here. The live pancake and roti cooking station is a lovely touch—fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. A must-visit place for anyone who loves traditional Sri Lankan food and warm hospitality. Highly recommended! ????????

  • INCREDIBLE experience. This restaurant was above and beyond anything my family had experienced in Sri Lanka. It was our favorite meal out of the 2 weeks we spent on the island. From the second we stepped into the restaurant the owners greeted us and welcomed us into the space. It was buffet style but they had an endless amount of options. TONS of vegan and vegetarian options too. Everything was fresh and someone was making fresh coconut rotis for each guest. The food was impeccable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone.
